Reverse Residential Assessment

This is an alternative to a residential assessment, it is provided in the community and comfort of the service users’ home closer to their main support and familiar surroundings. This is usually a 12-week assessment in the community with 24/7 support or level agreed upon with the Local Authority provided by a small team of experienced and multi-cultured support workers under close supervision of a manager.

 

We aim to support the parents whilst assessing and allowing them to demonstrate their parenting competencies in various areas of parenting. The parent will be responsible for caring for their child/ren unless the child’s safety requires immediate intervention and restriction of the care the parent/s provide.
